Yeti SB-66. This is definitely one of the ost exciting off road bikes to have come out of 2011. With increased aggression over the 575, it also features the impressive new suspension platform, Swiss Suspensin Technology. It manages chain forces by using an eccentric lower pivot and works by rotating anti-clockwise at first whilst at the same time, compressing dual-link compression.

Pivot Mach 5.7 Carbon. You can get an idea of this model by thinking of the Mach 5.7 but executing not in aluminium, bit carbon. The result of this change is that half a pound is lost in the frame. Other changes occur at the Carbon's rear end, which uses a 12 x 142 thru-axle as opposed to a standard QR. Pivot claims that the carbon is every bit as stiff as the aluminium in the Mach 5.7.

Santa Cruz Blur Trc. This model combines the snappy pedalling of an XC acer with a trail bike-like swagger. On the trail, it absorbs air smoothly but it does ride high in motion which gives it the snappy feel when pedalling. This is even more true when climbing which makes it one one of the most fun XC bikes that you can ride.

Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper 29er. For the first time, this model come in 29-inch form. Further, it has a 130mm rear-wheel travel. Further features include geometry, suspension tuning, and fibre layup schedule. Included with any new model from the Stumpjumper team is a Press-Fit 30 bottom bracket. In spite of its finely tuned suspension, however, this isn't perfect as there is an expensive price tag to pay for these extra features.

Trek Fuel EX. Other than the burlier terrain, you will be able to ride this bike in any condition. IN terms of features, it includes slackened geometry and frame tubes making this a ride which offers confidence and comfort to the rider.
